October | + a Waterdrop discount*

October | + a waterdrop discount*

October was quite a crazy month for me and didn't turn out as planned, however there's a few good things I want to share aaaand at the end there's a Waterdrop discount code for you all.

flopsy + oz met
One thing that was very exciting for me in October was that my bunnies, Flopsy and Oz met face-to-face for the first time. I've had Flopsy since April last year and she hasn't been around another rabbit since. I've had Oz since August and he's 5, so before I had him, he hadn't been around another rabbit either. I was a little nervous because I didn't know how they were going to react around reach other, but I was surprised and so happy at how sweet and calm they are together.

Since their first meeting, they've met quite a few times. I'm slowly getting them to bond and it's so cute watching them running around together, giving each other kisses and enjoying spending time together. They're becoming the best of friends and it makes me very happy.

autumnal walk in the woods
Walking in the woods is something I love doing, especially during the autumn time. My mum and I went for a little walk in Warsash and came across this swing in the tree. I was having so much fun on this swing! The trees were so pretty, there were leaves falling everywhere and it just made me so happy. It was a lovely walk.

method kitchen cleaner

I don't talk about cleaning products on my blog, but maybe I'll start to. One product I've really been loving is this Method Daily Kitchen cleaner in the Clementine scent (which smells so good). I love non-toxic products and before this, Ecover was my go-to product, but now I'm obsessed with this Method one. I definitely want to try more Method products. Also, all Method products are cruelty-free and vegan.

Something I wanted to talk about that I've been going back and forth about actually mentioning, was that my brother was admitted to hospital with encephalitis (swelling of the brain), which is a rare, but a very serious condition. It was caused by shingles, so it was all a big shock and very scary. He's been in hospital for 2 weeks but is improving, however his memory is all over the place and he is so confused. My family, his girlfriend and I have been visiting him (my mum has been there every day with him) and we're allowed to go in every day, even during lockdown as we need to jog his memory.

The first time I went to see him, he was in the ICU and it was so hard to see. He's not in the ICU anymore, however he needs somebody to sit with him 24/7. He'll be in hospital for another 2 weeks or so, depending on how his brain is doing because they need to make sure the swelling has gone down. Anyway, the point of me mentioning this is because for a while, my posts and catching up with other peoples posts may be behind, so please bare with me for a bit until I get on top of things again.

This was his view from his room yesterday with the sunset and lights across Portsmouth. He likes looking at the cars (he's car obsessed) so it's good for him to look out the window.
