A little beauty & fashion haul

Recently I've been really stuck on blogpost ideas. I've very nearly finished writing one I was going to upload this week, but since that post isn't ready just yet, I thought I'd do a little beauty and fashion haul.

An eyeshadow palette I finally decided to purchase, was the Makeup Revolution Hot Pursuit Palette (£10). After seeing so many people talk highly about Makeup Revolution's new pressed glitter palettes, I couldn't decide which one I liked best. Hot Pursuit looked like the one I'd use more and I'm so excited to start creating more looks with it. I've tried it once and so far I'm very impressed.

The entire palette looks stunning and I'm so excited to try all of these shades. I'm extremely excited about the shade 'Fire' because I've wanted to try a red glitter eyeshadow for such a long time. 'Inflamed' and 'Torridity' look like such interesting shades and something out of my comfort zone, but I'm looking forward to trying those. 'Fierce' is the shade I've used once so far and its absolutely beautiful. I'll definitely be featuring this in future blogposts and writing a review about it later on.

To go with the Hot Pursuit palette, I also got the Makeup Revolution Glitter Glue (£4). I've never tried a glitter glue before because with my other glitter shadows (loose and pressed), I just used to spray my brush and use them that way. I swatched the Hot Pursuit palette and they don't swatch all that well, so I definitely think they needed this glue under them. I've used this once with the Hot Pursuit palette and its a great glue and really helped. It made the glitter stay all day and you don't need too much of it, which is really good.

I'm going to a wedding at the weekend and I was really stuck on what to wear. I'm insecure about my weight, so when choosing what I was going to wear, I was very specific. The dress I found in H&M is this off-the-shoulder floral dress (£14.99) and its perfect with what I was thinking. It covers the top parts of my arms that I don't like, its long so I don't have to wear tights and its flowy, so it doesn't stick to me.

I'm quite short (5"2) and the length of this isn't as long as I thought it was going to be and its the perfect length with my heels. I'm happy that I can wear this throughout the rest of the summer too as I've been wanting a dress like this for a long time. Its comfortable and I'm excited to wear this.

When I saw this Hasta Mañana top (£8.99) in H&M, I was very excited. I've been looking for tops with Spanish writing on for ages and hadn't found any until this one. Hasta mañana means 'see you tomorrow' and for some reason, mañana is my favourite word. I just love saying it! I love simple tops with writing on and this one is colourful, comfy and great for this time of the year as its (kinda) thin.

Another thing I got for the wedding I'm attending, are some heels from Primark (in first photo) (£14). These really remind me of the Valentino ones that everywhere seems to be doing dupes of, which is great because I loooove the look of the Valentino ones. I got these before the dress and I was unsure whether they were going to go together, but they do go together well. These shoes are kind of different for me as spikes are something I never would've chosen before, but I love how they look. I'm excited to wear these.

Have you tried any of the Makeup Revolution glitter palettes?
