Current favourite beauty products & music | #2

In the past month or so, since I last uploaded a current favourites post, I've been liking a few beauty items and a few new songs/albums.

An eyeshadow palette I've recently been loving again, is my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. Last year, when I got my BH Cosmetics x Carli Bybel palette and abandoned all of my other eyeshadow palettes because I was (and still am) obsessed with the Carli Bybel palette, which is all I wanted to use. I've had my Naked 3 palette for a few years and its always been one of my favourites. After having a break from it, I've been enjoying using it more. This palette is great for this time of the year because its full of lovely shades that look nice with a spring/summer makeup look.

Hand cream is something I use all the time as my hands are constantly dry all year round. Up until recently, I hadn't tried a Cath Kidston hand cream and I don't know why because I've loved the brand for a while. This hand cream is amazing. First of all, the scent is lovely and lasts for quite a while, which is great. The hand cream isn't greasy and it rubs into your skin quick and easy. I've tried a lot of hand creams from different brands and this has been one of my favourites.

Considering Collection is cruelty-free, I don't know why its taken me so long to try something else from this brand. I'm pretty sure I've tried one of their nail polishes years ago, but I don't remember what it was like whatsoever. I think because I've never really used Collection before I went cruelty-free, its a brand I never remember about, but thats definitely going to change. I recently picked up two nail polishes from Collection and they've become two of my favourites.

Milk Caramel is a nude polish, that looks exactly like a Sally Hansen nail polish I used to own a few years ago and loved, but the Collection one is so much cheaper. This is a lovely shade and I'm so glad I've found a cheaper version of the Sally Hansen one. You only need a couple of coats of this and it lasts a few days before I have to reapply.

Touch Of Glamour is my new favourite nail polish. This is a beautiful glitter polish. For the most part it looks silver, however theres some purple glitter in there too. I like applying this over Milk Caramel as the two go nicely together.

Charcoal toothpaste is something I've heard really good things about for whitening teeth with. A brand I've especially heard good things about for their charcoal toothpaste, is Superdrug, so I decided to get one and see what it was like. I'm very impressed with this toothpaste and it makes my teeth so much brighter. I do want to write a separate blogpost on this, so I decided not to go into too much detail.

Music:

  • J Balvin - Vibras (album): I was very excited for J Balvin's new album to come out and its definitely one of my favourites. Vibras is full of amazing songs and my favourites are Ahora, Peligrosa (ft Wisin & Yandel) and No Es Justo (ft Zion & Lennox).
  • Maluma - F.A.M.E (album): Maluma has recently become one of my favourite singers and I was really excited for this album to be released. This album also includes some amazing songs and my absolute favourite is Felices Los 4 (the salsa version ft Marc Anthony).
  • Daddy Yankee - Hielo: Hielo gives me Vuelve vibes, but I love it.
  • Nicky Jam ft Will Smith & Era Istrefi - Live It Up: Does anyone else just look forward to the World Cup songs, but not the actual football? Or is it just me? Haha. Live It Up is one of my favourite songs that I've had on repeat.
  • Daddy Yankee, RKM & Ken-Y & Arcángel - Zum Zum: Zum Zum is such a catchy song and I love it.
  • Troye Sivan ft Ariana Grande - Dance to ThisI was so excited for this song to be released and its so good.
  • Nicki Minaj ft Ariana Grande - Bed & Ariana Grande ft Nicki Minaj - The Light Is Coming: Nicki and Ariana always release really good songs together and these are definitely two of them. I love The Light Is Coming, but does the guy in the background annoy anyone else?
  • Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin - I Like It: Truthfully, the only reason I started listening to this song is because I love Bad Bunny and J Balvin, but this has become one of my favourite songs.
  • Luis Fonsi & Stefflon Don - Calypso
  • Drake - I'm Upset
What have you been loving recently?
