March has been a month where I've been loving a mix of things; from products to apps, music and TV shows. I've been trying out a few products throughout March, so some of my favourites have made it into this post.
A few beauty products I've been loving are ones I mentioned in the haul that I posted at the beginning of March. I don't want this post to be too repetitive as the haul, but I've been using these products a lot throughout most of February (when I got them) and March.
The Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer is one of my favourite concealers. I am highly impressed with the concealer and the coverage. My LA Girl concealer (which I still love) is full coverage, but this Makeup Revolution concealer has even better coverage. I love how it covers almost all of my spots and it goes really nicely underneath my light coverage foundation. I mentioned in my haul that I picked up the wrong shade, but I wear it underneath my foundation and you can't tell. I need to get a new one anyway so I'll get another shade, but I have found that this has ran out very quickly. I don't know whether I'm just applying too much of it or if anyone else has found this?
I've been loving the Barry M Showgirl Extra Volumising Mascara a lot. This mascara barely transfers, which I'm so happy about. Also, how cute is the packaging? When I'm choosing a mascara, I like to go for ones with a medium/large brush as I find they work best for me. I bought this on a whim last month without knowing about it or the brush, so I'm glad it has a medium sized brush. It separates my lashes well and doesn't make my lashes clumpy.
A shower scrub I've been loving is the LUSH Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub. I've been enjoying using this because it exfoliates very well and one thing I found it works best for, is my dry hands. When they've been getting sore and dry, I've scrubbed my hands with this and its made them so much better.
Out of the two Makeup Gallery items I got from Poundland, my favourite product is the lipgloss. I love the shade and the formula of this and I feel like its a great shade for the spring/summer makeup look. Its a lovely pink and I like to wear it either on its own or over a lipstick. It isn't sticky and its very moisturising, so I like to wear this a lot.
Two TV shows I've been into is the American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace and Riverdale. I really enjoyed the American Crime Story: People vs OJ Simpson and so I really wanted to watch the Versace one. I'm really into this show and every week I've been excited to watch the next episode.
Another show I'm (finally) watching, is Riverdale. I got really excited when I saw the advert for it on TV before it was on, as I'd been wanting to watch it for a while. I've heard so many good things about it and I understand why so many people love it. Just like ACS: Versace, I've been looking forward to watch the new episode every week and finding out what happens next. (I spoke about both of these in my What I've Watched Recently post.)
In March, I've been liking a few songs and an album; some new (from March) and some a little less newer (from January and February).
- Magic - Rudy Mancuso & Maia Mitchell
- X - Nicky Jam & J Balvin | I love this song!
- Azukita - Steve Aoki, Daddy Yankee, Play-N-Skillz & Elvis Crespo | This is my favourite song. Its also the quickest song in Spanish I've learnt all of.
- In My Blood - Shawn Mendes
- The Middle - Zedd, Marren Morris & Grey
- My Dear Melancholy - The Weeknd | I am obsessed with this album. My favourites are Wasted Times and Privilege.
An app I've been really liking is Preview, which I've been using so much. I used to use VSCO Cam to put my photos besides each other and see what they look like before I upload them to Instagram. I stopped using VSCO Cam a while ago, but saw this Preview app in a YouTube video. I love this app. I like my photos to look fairly similar, so I like seeing what my photos look like together before I post them. I also put my photos on there that I'm yet to post, so I know what I want to post next. This has been very helpful and helped me by being organised with Instagram. My photos tend to get lost in my camera roll and I forget what I want to upload, so using this app has worked well for me.
Two YouTube channels I've been loving are Jess and Gabriel's joint and their own channels and Inanna Sarkis's channel. I've been binge watching both of their videos recently.
What have you been liking throughout March?
