LUSH Mask of Magnaminty
Back in September, I bought the Mask of Magnaminty and its became one of my favourite face masks. I have finished it now, but I thought I'd still write a review on it as I like writing reviews and I've had photos waiting for ages to be used. I chose the Mask of Magnaminty because I have a lot of spots and wanted a face mask that didn't have to be kept in the fridge. Ya girl doesn't have the energy to keep going up and down the stairs when I've forgotten to get it from the fridge.
I got the 125g (£6.95) one and I thought if I don't like it, then I don't have so much to get through if I don't like it, y'know? The Mask of Magnaminty is a face and body mask, but I mostly use it just for my face. When I first tried this mask, I was a bit concerned that I was reacting badly to it. This scent was veryyyy overpowering and it ended up stinging and burning my face and eyes. Thankfully, the next time I tried it, it was absolutely fine and it never stung/burnt again.
The texture of this mask is pretty thick and contains seeds and Aduki beans. Considering the texture is thick, I don't have to use a huge amount and this mask had lasted me quite well. I like that it has bits in it because when I remove it with a damp face cloth, it exfoliates my face well too.
Mask of Magnaminty is supposed to help with spots, but I find that sometimes my face looks noticeably different and sometimes it doesn't. In all honesty, I think thats just my skin. My skin changes so much. I have however, found that it does get rid of my spots on my chest. I only have a few that come up occasionally on my chest, but this mask really helps with those. Even if I don't always see a huge difference with the spots on my face, this mask does get rid of my dry skin very well. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft.
I do definitely prefer this over the fresh face mask I tried first. If you're suffering with spots then I would recommend this, it might work better for you every time. Even if you're just looking for a hydrating face mask, this is great and helps so much with dry skin.
Have you tried this mask? Whats your favourite LUSH face mask?
