My 20th birthday makeup look

I turned 20 a couple of weeks ago and I really liked the makeup look I did. I went for a full-face of makeup, with glitter eyes and false lashes.

I usually start off with primer, however since I've been moisturising right before doing my makeup, I start off with my eyebrows. I use my NYX Micro Brow Pencil to fill in my eyebrows. After doing my eyebrows, I then prime my face.

I've been using my Barry M Colour Correcting Primer since I got it. Although it doesn't colour correct, it works very well at priming and keeping my makeup in place all day long. I use my LA Girl Pro Concealer around my eyebrows to neaten and shape them better.

Onto my eyelids. I use my LA Girl Concealer and MUA Matte Loose Powder to prime my eyelids before I apply eyeshadow. I use eyeshadows from two different palettes. The first palette I use is my Carli Bybel Palette. The first thing I do is use (the second) highlighter on my brow bone and inner corner of my eyes. I use the light brow shade (third across) above my crease, the first plum shade (fourth across) in my crease and the second plum shade (fifth across) on the outer corner of my eyes.

The second eyeshadow palette I use is my Too Faced Gingerbread Cookie Palette. I use the shade Winter Dream, which is a beautiful purple sparkly eyeshadow and I use this on my eyelid.

I used two eyeliners. The first one is my MUA Eye Define Felt Liner and I create a wing with this. Because this eyeshadow is very glittery, the felt liner didn't look as dark as it normally would've done for some reason. I used my NYX Matte Liquid Liner over the eyeliner, except the flick. The flick was fine, but I just needed to go over the rest.

Because the colour correcting primer doesn't reduce any redness, I use my Barry M Colour Correcting Concealer pretty much all over my face. A little goes a long way, so I don't end up using too much all over my face. Over my colour correcting concealer, I apply my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. This covers the green extremely well. I know this isn't cruelty-free, but I've been trying to use it up since I went cruelty-free and I've nearly ran out.

The concealer I use in my LA Girl concealer and I use this underneath my eyes and on my forehead. I use my Clinique Contour Chubby Stick to contour my cheekbones, my nose and forehead. Again, I know this isn't cruelty-free, but I've been using this for a while (since before I went cruelty-free) and I've nearly ran out. I use concealer on the edge of my nose and each side of my nose where I contoured.

I powder my whole face lightly using my MUA Matte Loose Powder. For highlighter, I again use my Carli Bybel Palette and apply that above my contour on my cheeks and the bridge of my nose. I always use the second highlighter, its my favourite shade from this palette.

For the last bits of my eyes, I use the second plum shade underneath my bottom lashes. I then use my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara on my top and bottom lashes. I was going to use my Red Cherry lashes and I photographed them in this, however at the last minute I changed and used my Ardell Demi Wispies False Lashes

Lastly for my lips. I start off with using my Barry M Lipliner in Pose to line my lips. The lipstick I chose to wear is my NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Sandstorm, which is my favourite lip shade ever. Over the lipstick, I wore my NYX Butter Gloss in Madeleine. I love this lip combination.
