Whats in my travel makeup bag?

I can't tell you how many times I've rewritten this post. Every time I thought it was ok to upload, I changed what I was taking. As you're reading this, I'll be on my way back from a short holiday away in Devon. A while back I did a post on 'What I'd take in my travel makeup bag'. In the post, I wasn't going anywhere. This might be a lot of makeup to take with me, however it fits in my makeup bag, so I'm taking it. 

The makeup bag I'm taking is my pink, sequin bag from New Look. I've never taken this out with me and I've also never taken any of these makeup products (besides the lip products) out with me, so I'm unsure whether any of these will be good for travelling, so I'll have to see on that... Anyway, back to the bag. The bag is a medium size and fits all of my makeup in it, minus palettes. Its a good size bag and has an inside thats wipeable incase any makeup items leak, which I'm reallyyyy hoping they don't. 

I've obviously chosen to take my Makeup Revolution Ultra Face Base Primer as I cannot wear makeup without a primer. This is an essential to take. I decided to take my NYX Micro Brow Pencil instead of my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade. I find using my brow pencil is quicker to use and takes up less room in my makeup bag as its a thin product. 

I can't decide on whether to take my MUA Eye Define Felt Liner or my Zoeva Cat Eye Pen Eyeliner. I'm heading more towards my MUA one, but at the moment I haven't decided. 

The two concealers I'm taking are my Barry M Flawless Concealer as I use this around my eyebrows and on my eyelids. I'm definitely taking my LA Girl Concealer in the shade Porcelain as I always use that under my eyes, the bridge of my nose and my forehead. I haven't yet decided whether to take my LA Girl concealer in the shade Toast because I'm planning on taking a bronzer, so I don't know whether I'd use it. My lighter LA Girl concealer is more of an essential than the other two. 

I'm only taking one foundation, which is the Barry M Flawless Finish Foundation because I'm only going to need one foundation. This is the foundation I use the most. My foundation is an essential! 

Instead of taking a liquid and powder highlighter (as those are my most used highlighters), I've only chosen to take my NYX Liquid Illuminator. My highlighter palette wouldn't fit into my makeup bag anyway, but I've been using my liquid illuminator a bunch more recently. 

Another essential I need to take is my powder and I'm taking my MUA Matte Loose Powder. It takes up the most room in my bag because its quite chunky, however its the only powder I own. All the other makeup items fit into my bag, so its ok. 

I'm torn between which mascara I should take. I can't decide whether I should take my Barry M Feature Length Mascara or my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara or both. I like to use my Too Faced one for my top lashes and Barry M one for my bottom lashes. Both fit into my bag along with my other makeup, but the Too Faced one would be more ideal as its a deluxe size and is good for travelling with. 

I'm taking three lip products, which is a lipliner, a lipstick and a lipgloss. My favourite lip combination at the moment is the Barry M 'Pose' Lipliner and NARS 'Montego Bay' Pure Matte Lipstick, so I'm taking those. I'm also taking my NYX 'Madeleine' Butter Gloss as its my favourite lip product at the moment. 

The last thing in my bag I'm taking is my eyelash curler, which is by the brand B. at Superdrug. This just about fits into my makeup bag, but I can't not curl my eyelashes. 

I thought I'd add this palette into this post, even though it doesn't fit into this makeup bag. I'm taking my Too Faced Gingerbread Cookie Palette so I can use the eyeshadows and the bronzer. I'm putting this in a separate bag, but I wanted to take this.

And thats what I'm deciding to take. Whether I'll wear makeup, a minimal amount of makeup or a lot of makeup, I don't know. It depends on time and whether I can be bothered, but I wanted to take makeup with me incase. Since I'm coming back now, a blogpost on my trip should be up soon.
