Three first impressions | Barry M & MUA

I love trying new makeup products. While in Superdrug, I picked up 3 new products that I wanted to try and I'm going to share my first impressions on them.

Barry M Lip Kit - Pose I've been desperate to try a Barry M lip kit. In Superdrug they only had one shade of each left and I chose the shade Pose, however all three shades looked lovely. The lip kit comes with a lipliner and a lip paint inside the box.

I tried the lipliner first and I love it, its so easy to apply and I found that it glides on. I'll be using this with a lot of my other lip products as well. The shade for the lip paint is darker than I expected. I thought it was going to be a little lighter as in the tube it looks lighter, but its still a pretty shade. It dries quickly and is extremely pigmented. Its also not drying and I found it comfortable to wear.

MUA Eye Define Eyeliner I bought this on a whim as I've never tried an MUA eyeliner and I was interested in what I was like. I didn't know whether I was going to like it or not as I hadn't found one as good as my Zoeva Cat Eye Eyeliner Pen. I'm really impressed with this eyeliner. I know I've only used it once, but so far so good. Its extremely easy to use and the brush for this is shorter than previous eyeliners I've tried and I like that. Its also a very black eyeliner and applies so smoothly. This lasted all day long and didn't smudge at all.

Barry M Flawless Concealer | I love the Barry M Flawless Finish Foundation and I only realised the other day that they sold a Flawless Concealer. The concealer only had a few shades and the lightest they had in Superdrug was Ivory. Ivory is the shade of foundation I have, so I didn't know what the concealer was going to be like as I like concealers to be lighter. The concealer is lighter, its not hugely lighter, but it is definitely lighter.

I realised the concealer is lightweight and light coverage and I have to apply two layers underneath my eyes. Although I have to apply two layers, its not cakey at all. It blends in so so easily and quickly and I love that. I tried it around my eyebrows and on my eyelids and it works well to prime my lids. The applicator isn't like the usual doe-foot, instead it has a brush on the end of the wand and I wasn't expecting that. I'm unsure whether I like this concealer for under my eyes due to the coverage, but its really good for around the eyebrows and on my eyelids.

Those are my first impressions so far on these three products. I am planning on doing a separate review on each of these in the future to go into more depth and update you on what I think of them once I've used them for a while.

Have you tried any of these? If so, do you like them?
