Brighton | 26.03.17

I love Brighton and yesterday for Mothers Day, we took my mum to Brighton for a walk and to have lunch. Brighton is one of my absolute favourite places and I always love visiting, however parking is always a pain and we ended up walking so far. On the brighter side, I took some photos that I love and also did a little vlog (that'll be up on my YouTube channel soon). The vlog was kinda messy, but I just wanted to video little bits.

We went to Brighton Marina first for lunch, which we enjoyed after going for my 18th birthday in 2015, so we wanted to go back. I didn't take any photos there though for some reason. I had a delicious quinoa salad, which had avocado in and I want to remake it at home. It was the first time I'd tried avocado and now I really want more, I think its going to be my new favourite thing! Anyway, after eating and wondering around the carpark because we forgot where the car was, we headed to the seafront. We drove around a few times and finally found a parking space to the far left of the pier.

I love the lampposts in Brighton, they're so different to the ones I have where I live.

It was a super lovely day and the weather was extremely nice. The sun was out and it was really really warm. We walked past a bunch of pretty white houses/apartments/buildings etc to the pier. I love the buildings in Brighton, they're really pretty.

I love the roads in Brighton!

It was quite warm, but really windy on the pier, but it was a nice breeze after walking in the sun. The pier is one of my favourite places to go in Brighton.

One thing I found strange was not seeing the Brighton Wheel because it was taken down. I went on it January 2016, not long before it was taken down and I hadn't been back since. I felt like it looked kind of strange without it to be honest. There is however, the Brighton i360, which I'd love to go on. I bet the view from there was incredible. We realised that the whole time we could see the i360 from wherever we were, it was in the exact same place. Either it wasn't getting used or it was stuck...

Next up was the lanes. I didn't take any photos there because it was just too busy. After browsing the lanes, we headed back to the car and went home.

I had a lovely day in Brighton and I'm happy that it was sunny and warm. The last few times I've been to Brighton, in January 2016 and August 2015, its been chucking it down with rain. I felt like I haven't been to Brighton in the sun in ageeees, so today was thankfully a really nice weather day.
