Hey guys! My name is Abigail and I blog over at Abigail Alice x. Em and I decided to do a guest post swap which I am so excited about! Today I'm sharing with you my favourite items that I picked up whilst living in the USA. The USA has a lot of products that we in the UK have to work to find which is such an effort. So if you're going on vacation in the USA soon here are my top picks for you to get!

Starting with the most obvious brand that everyone loves in Los Angeles: Anastasia Beverly Hills. Her liquid lipsticks are famous for a good reason. They certainly knock Kylie Jenner's off the chart. They are a long lasting formula and very pigmented. They do shift a little bit when you're eating but drinking and kissing is totally fine! One of my favourite colours is Milkshake because it's such a cute light pink and you can blend it with other colours for an Ombre effect. The Self-Made ABH palette is my favourite in my palette collection. It has a huge range of colours (I'm crazy about the shade Ilsa which is the mint green colour) that are suited to a range of different looks that you would need. I would recommend this eyeshadow palette above all her others.

Kat Von D Beauty has a liquid lip formula that rivals ABH. The colour Lolita is her best seller and one of my favourite shades. It's a great nude/brown shade that I think I can best sum up as 'Terracotta'. This is just as long lasting and hydrating as ABH. Look out for the shade Requiem which I absolutely love but is always sold out at Sephora whenever I go in.

A bit of an odd addition to the post is the Airspun powder which you can find at Target and Walgreens. I would never have gone for a loose setting powder as I prefer the pressed ones such as Rimmel's Stay Matte but upon Patrick Starr's recommendation on Youtube I went for Airspun. It sets concealer under the eye without it creasing and is a very, very thin powder that doesn't look cakey. Plus the tub is so huge it has definitely lasted me longer than my usual pressed powders.

The Carli Bybel can be found online at BHCosmetics and in store at Ulta. It's a fab eyeshadow and highlighter palette. I ended up re-purchasing it because my favourite highlight shade hit pan and I just couldn't do without it! This is another palette like ABH that is very versatile but for a fraction of ABH's price.

Victoria's Secret is often overlooked with regards to beauty because everyone (including myself) is usually too focused on the sexy underwear. The VS body sprays are actually absolutely lovely. My favourite is Surfside with smells like vacation in a spray bottle. I highly recommend you check out their body sprays (their fragrances are a bit too cheap smelling for me) and the Pink ones too!

I hope you liked my USA beauty recommendations. Don't forget to check out Em's post over on my blog too!
