Brand Focus: Barry M

Barry M are one of my favourite brands. Even before I went cruelty-free they were one of  my favourites, especially for their nail polishes. I've been buying from Barry M for so many years (well their nail polishes) and it was only last year that I started buying their makeup.

Nail polish: We'll start with the nail polish. I've got quite a lot of Barry M nail polishes. Their nail polishes are my absolute favourite and they have such a wide range of colours and collections. In fact my second blogpost I ever wrote was 'My Barry M Nail Polish Collection' and I'm thinking of doing an updated one.

Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit: I got this contour palette last year when I first got into contouring. At first I disliked it (but back then I disliked powder contouring and couldn't really do it properly). I kind of ditched it and then forgot I had it until recently. I've used it a lot since and really like it, although the contour shade is too dark for me, so I use the medium brow shade more than anything. This palette was helpful when I first started contouring because on the inside of the lid, it gives you instructions.

Radiant Rod Highlighter: I used to love this highlighter, until it snapped and made it difficult to use. This is a very pigmented, creamy highlighter. I do love this highlighter and wish it hadn't have snapped (you can't see that it's snapped).

Natural Glow eyeshadow palette 2: I've recently started using this again. This was the first palette that I ever bought. There are 3 mattes, 3 shimmers and a primer. The shimmery shades are my favourite. I've used this a lot recently and also wrote a review all about this here.

Barry M Flawless Finish Foundation: This is a new Barry M favourite of mine. I am going to write a separate blogpost all about this soon. I've struggled to find a drugstore foundation that I really like and I think that I'v finally found one that I really like. It's the perfect shade, it blends incredibly well and I just really love it.

Fine Glitter Dust: This is one that's quite new to my collection, but I'm yet to use it. I was hoping I could use it as an eyeshadow, however on the bottom of the pot it says 'not for use around eyes'. I googled what I could use this for and it came up with different ways I could use this and I'm going to have to try this. This is so pretty though.

  2. I haven't ever really tried anything else from Barry M apart from their nail polishes, I did get a free mascara which I gave to my daughter and she loved it, the palette looks lovely and that glitter does too, it's a shame you can't use it near the eye area it would look so pretty xxx

  3. I love the Chisel Cheeks contour kit, I think the darkest contour shade looks so natural, it's just so pigmented and you have to be really delicate when applying it!
