New Years Eve Makeup

Lets just pretend that I'm going somewhere on New Years Eve, when in reality I'm just going to be sat on my sofa, watching fireworks on TV, in my pyjamas... but that's fine with me! I still wanted to create a New Years Eve makeup look!

First of all I'm going to use a primer. If I was going out then I'd want my makeup to last and this makes my makeup last. This is Benefit's Porefessional primer and I've really been loving this. As always, I'll be using my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade.

For my eyeshadow I'm going to be using this shade called 'Red Night' from my Makeup Revolution Flawless palette. But firstly I'll be using 'Nooner' from my Naked 3 palette above my crease and then put 'Red Night' on my lid!

After I've done my eyeshadow, I use Rimmel's 'Wake Me Up' concealer to create a straight line of my eyeshadow and to clear up any fallen eyeshadow. I then do my eyeliner and mascara. If I was actually going somewhere then I'd use false lashes.

Then for my foundation I'd use my Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation because it's my absolute favourite foundation and it's got really good, full coverage. Over that I'd use my Maybelline Eye Eraser concealer.
Onto contour. I'd use my Clinique Contour Chubby Stick. This gives such a nice contour. Then I'd powder my face using Rimmel's Stay Matte powder! For highlighting I'd use my Barry M Radiant Rod highlighter on my cheeks, nose and brow bone.

Then lastly for my lips, I'll use my Soar lipliner by MAC and NARS lipstick in Montego Bay. These two go really well together.

And that's my final look! This is going to be my last post of 2015 so I hope you all have a lovely New Years Eve and a happy new year:-)
I also filmed this for my YouTube channel and I'll be uploading it tomorrow. If you'd like to watch that tomorrow then you can check out my channel YouTube.com/emb24 (I hit 200 subscribers today, much excite:-D)!

  4. NYE is definitely overrated! I think I'm just staying in and having a few drinks with friends, but guess I could still go all out with my makeup... Great picks, love the look of that palette!xx

  7. Porefessional is my favourite primer! I've never came across that MR palette before, the colours in it are amazing. Really similar to a Morphe palette I was debating on getting x
