Trying *Betty Box for the first time

When us girls go through the time of the month, we all need something to pick us up and make us feel better. When the lovely people at Betty Me reached out to me and asked if I'd like to try their September's Betty Box subscription box, I was extremely interested and excited to share it with my readers. I actually saw this on the lovely Grace Kate's blog and I thought this box looked like such a cute idea.

If you're not aware of the brand Betty, then I'll explain a bit. Betty Box is a monthly subscription period box with includes things you need and things to make you feel a bit better. The box is £12.99 with free postage and you can choose a day for it to be delivered. You choose whether you want either pads, tampons or a mix of both and they put a bunch of things for you in there too.

When you open the box, there are three boxes and a drawstring bag. Inside the drawstring bag there are tampons and some liners. Inside the 'for later' box, is a bunch of tampons and inside the 'for night' box is some pads. Obviously this will vary depending on what sanitary items you choose. They give you a really good amount of liners, pads and tampons. The liners are thin and small, which is good for when you're just coming off your period. The pads are bigger and thicker, which is perfect for the night.

In the box 'for you', there are some really lovely things. Some of these I've used and some of them I haven't yet. The September Betty Box was aimed for those going back to school. I don't go to school, however all of these things will still be helpful. The things inside the box are:

A few days after this arrived, my period started so I was excited to use some things inside this box. I've used a few things from the 'for you' box and I thought I'd say what I've used. I ate the salted caramel popcorn and it was amazingggg. I had never tried salted caramel popcorn before. I used the T-zone nose pore strip, which is something I had wanted to try for a while. It worked really well!

I never knew Stabilo did pastel highlighters. I was in need of a new highlighter, so I'm really glad I have a new one. I want to get the whole collection of pastel highlighters because I love anything pastel. I've also used the nail polish and its such a good one. I really like the shade, its different to what I've used and I'm planning on writing a separate blogpost on it.

Overall I am really impressed with Betty Box. You get such a good amount and some amazing things for £12.99. This is such a good idea and I had never seen anything else like it. I've seen tons of different beauty subscription boxes, but never had I seen one for periods. If you're interested trying a Beauty Box, I definitely recommend it. This is perfect for your time of the month to make you feel better.

have you tried Betty Box before?

  4. I love the idea of a Betty Box, I think it's so important too that they tailor it to the kind of period products that you'll want to use!
