Makeup Revolution 144 Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette Collection 2017
When I saw on Instagram that Makeup Revolution had released an eyeshadow palette collection for 2017 that contained 144 eyeshadows, I knew I neeeeded it. After finding it online and seeing that it was £10 reduced from £20, I was amazed. 144 eyeshadows for £10? Who's going to say no to that?
After buying it, I was so excited to go home and swatch the shades in it and try different looks. I've never had an eyeshadow palette with more than 32 shades in it, let alone 144. There are SO many shades to play around with. There are a lot of golds/bronze shades, which are my favourite and some lovely pinks. There's also a lot of shades that I've never tried before, so I'm super excited to try them, eeee.
I apologise for this post being very picture heavy, I'm just so obsessed with this palette. I didn't do swatches in this post because I am planning on doing a separate post on swatching the whole lot. That post should be up sometimes within the next week.
Description on Superdrug's website | Back with a brand new shade selection our 144 eyeshadow palette! Full of shimmers and bright shades, ranging from nudes to brights this palette is good for any occasion as well as on the go to take you from day to night.
The packaging is a big plastic, thin case, with a clear lid. The case is very secure, i actually really struggle to open it, but it closes securely with a click. Once you open the palette, there's a small mirror and two double-ended sponge applicators. I like that it has a little mirror. I wont be using the sponge applicators as I always use my own brushes, but they'd be useful for people who buy this and don't own eyeshadow brushes.
There is an amazing range of shadows. There's a lot of light shades and dark shades. I'm actually really excited to play around with the blue, green and purple shades at some point. I've never used blue or green eyeshadows nor have I really had those sort of shades, so that's going to be interesting. All of these shadows are shimmers, however some of the colours have less shimmer in than others.
Like the other Makeup Revolution palettes I've tried, the pigmentation is insaneeee (which you'll see soon in my separate swatch post). I'm always so happy with how pigmented Makeup Revolution make their products. The shadows are creamy, soft and work like a dream. The shadows all blend in SO well. The eyeshadows are also long lasting.
Overall I loveeee this palette. I knew I was going to like it because I like all of the Makeup Revolution eyeshadows that I've tried. I'm obsessed with this palette and I don't think I'll need another palette again (but obviously that's not going to stop me). It's a beautiful palette and all the shades are amazing. If you want to pick this up, it's still on sale on the Superdrug's website and it's actually now £8!
Have you tried this palette?
