MUA Skin Define Matte Loose Powder

I needed to replace my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder and was struggling to find a cruelty-free powder, that was roughly around the same price as the Rimmel one. I came across MUA's powders in Superdrug and there was three different choices available, one of which didn't have a translucent and the other two didn't say. MUA are a brand that I love. Their products always amaze me and they're so inexpensive. I hadn't heard/read anything about this powder, so I didn't have a clue whether or not it was actually going to be a good powder.

Product description on the Superdrug website: Micro-fine powder formulated with Vitamin A, E and jojoba, will seal foundation as well as controlling oil appearance on the skin. Perfect matte shine control.

The powder is in a round plastic tub, with a screw on lid. It comes with a sifter inside, that you can remove. I'll be keeping the sifter in the tub because otherwise I'll be worried that it'll go everywhere. I shake the tub slightly to get the powder out, which usually gives me the right amount of powder that I need.

I've wanted to try a loose powder for ages. This powder is so good for baking underneath the eyes. You don't need to apply a lot of this powder for it to give a soft, matte finish. It doesn't settle into fine lines and it looks really nice.

It's just a really good powder. I've been using it for a month and haven't had any issues with it, I really like it. This was £3 for 15g, which I think is so good.

  1. Great review! I've really been loving my Ben Nya Banana Powder. A lot of people use it just to set their undereye concealer, but I like using it for all over my face.

  2. I am using Estee Lauder's Double Wear powder and I like it but it's super heavy around the eyes. I need something lighter! The look of deep wrinkles isn't chic. :)
