Trying a new mascara | NYX Doll Eye mascara

I've tried many different mascaras on the past 7/8 years that I've been wearing it and I've never found a mascara that I've actually stuck with. This has been on my wish list for a while and I finally purchased it as my Maybelline mascara ran out.

Product description on the Boots website
Hello doll-face! For irresistibly fluttery eyelashes, try this mascara on for size. Doll Eye mascara uses a unique blend of natural oils, vitamin E and nylon fibres to extend eyelashes to almost faux proportions.

The packaging for this is an all black tube with white writing on. It also comes in a box. The wand for this mascara is a thin wand, I don't remember the last time I used a mascara with a thin wand. The wand is easy to use and separates my lashes really well and is also good for my bottom lashes.

I chose the waterproof one, but there's also a volume one and a long lash one. Next time I run out, I think I'm going to try the long lash one, because I'm interested in that one. This mascara doesn't really lengthen my lashes to be honest, but it doesn't clump whatsoever and it holds a curl well.

Overall I do like this mascara. I love how it makes my lashes look, that it separates my lashes amazingly well and that it doesn't flake or clump. I bought this for £7 from Boots

Have you tried this? Whats your favourite drugstore mascara?

  6. If you don't mind me asking, what was the Maybelline mascara you were using? I'm using a Revlon fiber formula one right now, and I love the formula, but it's getting old. I'm thinking about getting the Great Lash mascara seeing as it is a classic and my friends seem to like it. x
