September favourites
I know I've just uploaded my (very late) July and August favourites post, but because September ended not long ago, I didn't want to leave it too late into October to upload it, sooo I've got two favourite posts close together. Some of the products in this post are ones I've spoken about once or twice in the past few blogposts, so I won't speak about those too much as I don't want it to be repetative.
Two products I've spoken about that have been my favourites within the past month, is the Too Faced Love Light Highlighter and the Barry M Contour Stick from the Chisel Cheeks cream contour duo. The highlighter is a pretty, lovely shade, which has become my most used highlighter at the moment. While I find it not as pigmented on as it is when I swatch it, its buildable so you can have it as blinding as you like. The contour stick has easily become one of my favourite products this past month and I really love it. Its pigmented, creamy and blends is so effortlessly.
Two nail polishes I've been loving are Barry M's 'Laguna' and 'Pink Ice'. Laguna is a coconut infusion nail polish and is such a lovely blue that I've been wearing a lot. Pink Ice is a Molten Metallic shade and its beautiful.
I recently tried some of Superdrug's skincare products from their Vitamin E range. I tried three, two of which I like and one of which I don't like (which I'll talk about in another post as this is my favourites post). I've been really loving the Vitamin E Exfoliating Facial Scrub as it leaves my face feeling soft and fresh. I've tried many eye makeup removers previously, but a new one I've really started liking is the Vitamin E Eye Makeup Remover. Its a cream remover, which removes my eye makeup extremely well, including very glittery eyeshadows. It doesn't sting my eyes and you don't need a lot either.
This month I decided to try Superdrug's face mask; all of which sounds really good, but the two I tried and love are the Avocado & Oat and Charcoal masks. They kind of look like play doh in the tub, but they have a kind of mousse texture. The Charcoal is smooth and the Avocado & Oat is smooth but has lumps of oat in, which is a little strange when putting it on your face, however both masks leave my skin feeling really soft and fresh.
Lastly on the makeup, a new lipstick favourite of mine is the Revolution Pro Lip Pigment in the shade 'Inconspicuous' and its a lovely lipstick. I love the colour and I'm so glad I decided to get this. Its comfortable to wear, its not drying and its long lasting.
This month I have two new favourites that I guess are more on the lifestyle side. The first one is an app, which is the 1 Second A Day app. I started filming it on my birthday in August and I'm going to film up until my birthday next year. Even though I don't have many interesting things to film daily, I still find things; whether its from GTA, my pets or even just flowers in my house. Its fun and I can't wait to look back on every day next year.
I recently started a bullet journal in September and I'm absolutely loving it. I had wanted to start a bullet journal for a while and I eventually did. I love creating and designing themes for the month. I've added things like a calendar, water drinking tracker, money saver, what I'm spending and blog and YouTube ideas. I'm still thinking of more things I can add and I can't wait to continue adding more and thinking of monthly themes. One upcoming theme I'm so excited to do is my Christmas theme and pages.
