A day in Norwich
On Sunday I took a trip to Norwich with my family. It takes around 4 hours to travel from the South Coast to Norwich so it's a long journey for a day trip! I woke up at 5am after an hour and a half sleep and we left the house at around 7am (I was so tired). The car journey went quite quickly and we listened to old CD's and one of my brothers and I sang the whole way. I'm going to share my photos from the park and river we went to.
Once we got to Norwich we went to Waterloo Park. Waterloo Park is a big park with a pavilion and bandstand. We walked up some steps and we were stood underneath a wooden archway with trees growing on and around it.
My photos of the bandstand turned out awful, so here's the pavilion. I'm unsure whether it actually gets used or not.
I found a blossom tree at the back of the park which was covered in blossom and it was so pretty. I may have taken LOADS of photos of it, I love blossom trees. On the South Coast I'm yet to find a tree covered in blossom at the moment, so I was happy to see a nice blossom tree.
We then walked to this river that wasn't too far of a walk from Waterloo Park. This river was in Wensum Park, which was really pretty. There were a ton of birds (not my favourite, but I took a lot of photos of them).
I'm actually really happy with how this photo (above) turned out. I thought it was going to be a completely awful photo, but after putting it on the computer and zooming in, I realised that the bird is actually in focus so I'm really pleased about that!
After our walk around the parks and river, we went to find somewhere to eat. Soon after we headed back home! This was my first time visiting Norwich and it's a really nice place and I had a really nice walk around there. :)
Have you been to Norwich? Or these parks?
I love your photographs, I have family in Cromer and my OH is originally from Norfolk which isn't far from Norwich, unfortunately I haven't visited other than for a funeral :( but from your photographs it looks lovely where you visited, I would like to go :) So glad you had a nice time xxx
