The Brush Egg
Cleaning my makeup brushes is something that I do quite regularly and weirdly used to enjoy. I eventually started to dislike cleaning my brushes and the more I bought, obviously the longer it took and I would keep putting it off. I'd heard about these Brush Eggs on Blogs and Instagram and decided I was going to buy one, so I went onto Amazon and found one for £1. I'm pretty sure this isn't the real Brush Egg but I don't care because it does the job!
On Amazon they do a range of colours and I chose the pink one and I love the colour. It did take a while to arrive, but it did only cost £1 with free postage so I didn't expect it to turn up within a week. When this arrived I was actually excited to wash my brushes and see if this actually worked.
Brush Eggs are silicone, small and compact. The size of these are good because they'll fit in your makeup bag! The smaller knobs at the top are used for foaming and lathering. The grooves at the bottom are used to agitate the bristles! I use the top bit for my smaller brushes and the bottom bit for my bigger brushes.
To clean my brushes I simply just use soap and water. I put the soap on the Brush Egg and just brush my brushes on that! This tool cleaned my brushes so much quicker and easier and took off all the product. It made cleaning my brushes ten times easier for me and I actually don't mind cleaning my brushes anymore!
Before I used to clean my brushes on the palm of my hands, but this works so much better. Overall I love this Brush Egg. I'm so glad I decided to buy this.
Have you tried a Brush Egg? What do you use to clean your makeup brushes?
I got one for Christmas actually, and I have yet to try it. I am so bad about washing my brushes! But now I def will have to. Maybe I will over the weekend. Thanks for sharing!

definitely! thank you:)
DeleteI have a brush egg and a Sigma brush mat. I use the egg for when I travel. Both do an excellent job at cleaning my brushes. Also, there are lots of brush cleaner recipes on Pintrest that clean and disinfect your brushes. Just a little FYI.
