Makeup Revolution Peach Lights Highlighter


A couple of months ago I was looking online at drugstore highlighters and came across this Makeup Revolution highlighter and had been thinking about it ever since. When I went into Superdrug a month back I also saw that MUA had a highlighter for the same price and I was considering getting that instead. When I went back I decided to go for the Makeup Revolution one after I swatched both! Makeup Revolution is a brand that I wanted to try more of after trying their eyeshadows and loving them! This highlighter was only £3, which I think is so good. 


The packaging is in a case with a clear lid so you can see the product. The packaging is very sturdy, when I first tried to open it I struggled as it was tough to open, but I guess that's a good thing. It clicks shut and is very secure.


There is 7.5g of product, which is in a swirl design. This shade is called Peach Lights and it's a cool peach. All together Makeup Revolution sell 3 Vivid Baked Highlighters and the other two shades are called Golden Lights and Pink Lights. 


When I swatched it, what amazed me (as always) is how pigmented it was (but Makeup Revolution always make really pigmented items). When it's on your face it gives a nice pearly finish. I apply this on my cheeks, nose, brow bone and cupid bow. It blends well and is very silky and smooth. 


(I didn't edit the photo above, just so you can see how pigmented it is). Overall I LOVE this highlighter. I'm very interested in the other two, especially the Golden Lights one. I still can't get over how good Makeup Revolutions products are for their price, they're definitely one of my favourite drugstore brands.

    I love this highlighter! I've nearly hit pan on mine, although I will say that my lid has snapped off, which is causing a few issues in my makeup bag:P bargain though x

    This is gorgeous! I love the brand so I'm definitely going to pick this up! I have the goddess of love ( I think it's called ) highlighter and it's very golden and sparkly! But I love how pearly pink this one is xxx

    I have only tried MR highlighters in their palettes and those are gorgeous! I've heard such good things about the highlighters and you cannot beat the price so I'm definitely going to have to get some soon. Great review! XO -Kim

    So far I've only tried one of their liquid lipsticks that I hated and their Flawless palette that I absolutely love! I thought of picking up on the highlighters but I just wasn't sure about it.. now I am ;) x
